I mean liberal democrats are making people scared to speak their mind.. let alone fight a war when necessary. When its time to fight.. a democrat will piss themselves.

I hear the north an South Pole are pretty desolate/uninhabited. Send all refugees there.

Fair point.. i mean America could cut a lot on foreign interventions and invest that money into housing BOTH the veterans and refugees.. wouldn't that be fair and smart?

For posters wondering whether the Boston bombers were refugees: the Tsernaev brothers came with their parents to the US on a tourist visa in 2002—and then asked for asylum. They didn't go through the refugee resettlement process. They were not refugees but asylees (though the two terms often get confused).

As a veteran myself, I've seen people say this a lot and it leaves me kind of confused. I will say that some of the processes in place to tap into my benefits are a bit tedious and drawn out, but if a veteran was truly looking to tap into his benefits and entitlements for serving their country, they can get them. Every veteran that gets out or separates with honorable discharge is entitled to a lot of opportunities and benefits. Just go to the VA website. There is tons of information there.

I don't know every homeless veterans circumstance, but I do know they have entitlements to benefits if they choose to seek them.

people grossly overestimate the portion of our budget that goes to aiding foreign countries.

yes. for sake of a logically sound argument, i will speak in metaphors. let us recall the fifth season of game of thrones where jon snow tried to lead the night's watch to unite with the wildlings who were slowly being feasted upon by the white walkers. the night's watch were ignorant and did not see this as a feasibly possibility as they feared the wildlings would k---, r---, take their stuff, etc. in the end, jon snow was right because the white walkers ended up doubling their army by feasting upon the wildlings who were not able to make it out in time.

This is a really good read for anyone interested. Explains why the events that occurred in Paris aren't applicable to the U.S.'s refugee resettlement process.

Makes me sick to see all the bleed heart liberals want to allow even more unwanted undocumented people in this once great country. We have our own problems, we can't be trying to save all these people when there's so many homeless in our own country
