Nov 4, 2015 Some shows are canceled early despite actually being good and some of TV's classics could easily have been or nearly were canceled early on. What're some shows that could have gone on to be great in your opinion?
Nov 4, 2015 This one is a bit cliche, but Freaks and Geeks had a lot of potential to become a really great series. It's first season was very enjoyable.

Nov 4, 2015 The TV show "Resurrection" that was on ABC and got cancelled after 2 seasons. It started off slow but seemed like it was gaining momentum by the end of the second season. Hated that it got cancelled.

Nov 4, 2015 Rubicon, canceled after one season. Lone Star, canceled after two episodes. Revolution, although probably deserved it since the first season was so bad and lost the chance to build an audience, got canceled after a stellar turnaround in its second season.
Nov 4, 2015 While true, it works so well as a single season and the ending is perfect. I kind of wish more shows had the restraint to end on a high note rather than keep going as long as financially possible. For example, Prison Break should have been one season long or at most an anthology. The premise of the show wasn't compatible with for seasons of television.
Nov 4, 2015 You're right. It did end on a high note and future seasons weren't particularly necessary or vital. However, I think that during its original run the full series wasn't even completely shown. Only the first 12 episodes aired. The rest of the season's episodes aired much later and some on other tv channels. Freaks and Geeks could have become another example of a show being completely prematurely cancelled without the season being concluded.

Nov 8, 2015 HANNIBAL And The Comedians which just got cancelled on FX. I thought it was pretty underrated.
