Aug 9, 2015 hello creative section friends. i would like to share a site with all of you. www.samples.kb6.de this site has the most drum samples in one place of any site on the entire internet. furthermore - the samples are all properly organized by sound and machine -they are 192kbp plus samples, sampled directly frok ACTUAL hardware -they are 100% free you can download each hardware sample pack individually, or you can donate one time and download all of them at once. i donated. there is hands down no site that is more valuable to DAW users and also hardware users alike. for a musician pre-internet to have had this many sounds at their disposal, they would need literally semis to move all the hardware required. one love
Aug 9, 2015 protip: attempting to replicate a sound you've heard in popular music? go to KVR forums and ask them what type of drums were used in a song, they will probably be able to identify one or two pieces of hardware used for the sound. from there look it up on kb6. KVR forums are loaded w tons of music OG's who were getting racked up before the internet and know a f--- ton of stuff about music that is largely irrelevant or onsolete now, BUT, they def know sound and hardware.
