Sep 27, 2016 What i'm saying is even though that type of music is my fave because substance should always come first and music is suppose to move u that is my perspective actually do like Gangsta Rap as well i listen to Nipsey Hussle he ain't singing, he isn't deep, he just makes Gangsta Rap. I love Drill Rap i love Chief Keef's music, SD, Lil Jay, Lil Durk. I love Trap rap Future, Rich Homie Quan, Gucci Mane, Migos And aside from Eminem's emotional melodic music i loved his Gangsta rap era the hooks he did on Drama Setter, Welcome 2 D Block, No More To Say, Git Up, Doe Rae Me. Songs like Soldier I also love songs like My Name Is, The Real Slim Shady, Without Me, Bezerk from him comedic pop songs But i like all the music i like wether it be Emotional, Gangsta, Trap, Drill because of how the artist executes the song it has to catchy for me to like a song Nas, Lupe Fiasco, some Jay Z songs, Common, KRS-One, Jay Electronica, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, J Cole, Scarface have substance but because of their execution i find their music very boring and very dull It's about execution on a song like Mockingbird Eminem executed the substance in a catchy way, it's a great sing along pop song U call that kinda music soft but s--- if u can't get soft for a song about your daughter express your softest emotions for a song about your child the person u love the most then s--- u gotta re evaluate life homie It's not like Eminem singing and rapping about flowers and picnics and holding hands on Mockingbird it is about his love for his daughter, the struggles he experienced, how much his daughter means everything to him
