    Perhaps the weirdest part of this meltdown is so many people's insistence that this is apolitical despite Kanye parroting right wing talking points pretty much exclusively. Being outrageous as a marketing tactic or contrarian by nature doesn't excuse you from the consequences or implications of your professed ideology.

    imo he just f----- up his wording on this but who knows he says what ever the f--- he thinks. the rest of the interview he talks about how he feels like people need to stop making excuses and I feel like that was what he was trying to say there.

    I give zero f---s about all the attention seeking crazy talk as long as he keeps on putting out great music.

    By the same token, I’ve never cared whether a gangster rapper portrayed his life accurately in his verses — it’s all about the music to me.

    That said, the s--- song Kanye just released with T.I. suggests that we’re rapidly approaching Kanye’s version of an “Encore”.

    I think maybe he was suggesting that the idea of slavery, in modern day, is more of a mindset. He said 400 years of slavery, black people were slaves for roughly half that in america. But its worded so terribly that i cant be sure as to what the f--- he was trying to say.

    Nah the Yeezus era was 10x worse.

    This is bad, but Ye's been through h--- and back

    Alot of white folk got furious at him over the Taylor Swift thing in 2009, although overtime its shown he was 1000x right as Single Ladies is considered a universal classic, and Love Story was a blandass starbucks pop country tune for white girls.
