Sep 17, 2017 jesus christ let people have their own opinions and if you disagree tell 'em why and don't put out useless remarks
Sep 17, 2017 It's like you're literally not allowed to say something bad about Eminem or they respond by saying you're just trying to discredit him lol Very insecure fanbase
Sep 17, 2017 Dont you have anything better to do than make edgy posts on eminem section. Freaking loser
Sep 17, 2017 @jmillithauglybasedgod maybe try listening to the album in 2017? Lot of bad moments both musically and artistically
Sep 17, 2017 I think the thread is about sslp. A confirmed classic. Not about eminem himself. Numb head.
Sep 17, 2017 Regardless of who says what anywhere on this site. This MFer has a huge loyal fan base and will sell the Fizzuck out of stadiums and albums still... and he's going half a hundred years old. Eat that
Sep 17, 2017 There's no such thing as a "confirmed classic" lel And if there was, SSLP wouldn't be one.
Sep 17, 2017 I have I have listened to the album In 2017, many times. Still a 10/10 classic. I can't find a single bad moment, musically or artistically.
Sep 17, 2017 I already did that tho. Bro there's no debate if you say it's aged horribly and it's no longer classic bc you listened back and you find his voice unbearable.
Sep 17, 2017 All the lyrical themes of The Slim Shady LP are on Relapse. It's literally told from the point of view of Slim Shady.
Sep 17, 2017 Love when @Cyreides come in a thread and has the same opinion as u Guy is like a safety net A gay safety net
Sep 17, 2017 When I put on The Eminem Show, I enjoy it as an adult. When I put on SSLP I enjoy it primarily for the nostalgia. Listening to a lot of the songs, I know I would probably hate them if they were released in 2017. Rock Bottom, Still Don't Give a f--- and Bonnie & Clyde are are brilliant, but at 28 I'm not as much into listening to songs about overdosing on mushrooms. So I agree the album has aged poorly, but I can still understand why I enjoyed it in 1999 and, to me, that makes it a classic.
