    Slime Season wasn't really that critically acclaimed. Unless you count yourself as a professional critic and bump up the average 10 points lol.

    And I quit after a few tracks as it became obvious to me Thug and his producers didn't really care making these tracks, so why should I?

    I mean yeah, critics definitely do like him overall but that doesn't change the fact that I don't like his music.

    nah but you're in the minority for a reason. the guy's more or less invented a new way to rap--maybe he deserves more than a cursory listen. your call though.

    I don't get any emotion from most of Thug's music. He doesn't sound like he cares to me. He's got this great style but doesn't appeal to me emotionally. It's like listening to a sociopath.

    I used the simile "like a sociopath" because I'm so far detached emotionally from a lot of his music. He's definitely not some boring a--- monotone rapper but it's hard to explain why he doesn't appeal emotionally to me. There are songs where he does but that's not the majority.
