no, i get that and i dont think otherwise

i just know Charlie isn't a fan of SS1's at all -- he was talking about making his own compilation tape etc when it first dropped

whereas i think parts of it are definitely very well sequenced, thats all (*thug voice no quan voice*)

Most people ive talked to on here/irl argue against this m8 i think u (and me) are in the minority

B6 plays SO well front ot back...but even @BigCountry was saying he doesnt really revisit it (i think)

oh i didn't know @Charlie Strangelove thought that. i would disagree; i think ss1 is presented in a pretty definitive way, especially in light of there being a second installment.

I didn't know that either. I just find it poorly sequenced and better experienced as a bunch of loosies.

B6 is sequenced very well. I like the album. I'm not sure what it is about it but I find myself listening to Rich g--- and Slime Season over it most of the time.

I mean you can't deny that it sounds like B6 leftovers awkwardly cut with newer material. It really is a transition between B6 and SS2, without the sequencing of the first or the consistency of the second.

Agree with SS1 not being AS well structured or sequenced as what can b4 or after, as I've said, but disagree wholeheartedly about it not being as consistent as SS2
I haven't heard rich g--- or b6 in a minute (except halftime which is in rotation like everyday lol) -- too much new material

Side note: I praised and loved so many of the leaks simply due to thugs sheer talent...but now Alex is here making them all sound SO full and alive...it's truly amazing mannn

How is it consistent if it sounds like two different projects on shuffle?

no, i definitely, definitely don't think they sound like barter 6 leftovers at all, not one bit. they're totally different styles of production and rapping. i believe the B*** of each tape was pulled from his 2014 sessions, with some finishing touches added to each to round them out. but they're very obviously segregated by sound. i don't know if any song on ss1 would fit on b6. it was all just unused material that was stitched together, more cleanly in april.

I don't get that vibe is the problem lol, and I missed you calling them b6 leftovers as well. Disagree there too. Just because some songs sound like they would be at home on b6 doesn't mean we can ignore the new territory presented by calling your name, or wanna be me on the opposite end of the apectrum.

Now way and mine are two of the most accessible cuts he's put out recently that still showcase his technical skill, drawn down and would wood are in the same vein

Tape has a good balance between abrasive (overdosin, quarterback, rarri, Stunna) and smooth/accessible (no way, would wood, best friend, be me see me, etc), with a few even being a good mix of both (freaky, calling your name, wanna be me, that's all etc)

I agree with what your saying about sequencing and consistency to a degree but you're generalizing too much imo
