Nah it doesn't ruin it. Thugs verses, even the most focused, are really just his thoughts at that given moment freely flowing -- unburdened and unfiltered.

He has no preconceived social constructs to live by. To him mentionig doing whatever to "that p----" in the middle of a verse about loving his fiancée and children, is just endearing. Nothing more, nothing less. You gotta take the s--- in proper context. You're definitely thinking of context, which is why you think it's out of place or crass or w/e, but you have to step out of your shoes and into his. It's hard to describe.

I think it's the better project. But both parts have some of my favorite thug songs of the year/ever

idk I just think the first half of the tape is really underwhelming. I hate Big Racks/Twerk It and Thieves in the Night/Phoenix are pretty meh to me (that's 4 of the first 8 songs). plus the run from Stunna to Freaky is sooooooo d--- gr8 on SS1 that'd it'd be hard to beat anyways.

I think it's the chorus. thug is normally really creative with hooks and rarely hinges on repeating a phrase, but on this one he seemed to be really lazy.

Hmm I don't see it like that because in my head some of his best hooks come from repeating a phrase until it all about loses all meaning and becomes like playdough putty in his hands

I'd give big racks another try, I think it's a great intro, the verses are dope
