Jul 30, 2020 Whats influence got to do with anything? The reason everyone copies future is because it is simple, everyone can do it. Looking at the lyrics alone, which to me is the most important part, no one can touch eminem, let alone future. Its not like any random rapper wannabe can say "oh cool, I'll write like eminem too". Its like judging if someone is a brilliant in math by looking at how many others tried to solve a problem in the same way. The greats are always alone and standing out.
Jul 30, 2020 Em needed that co-sign. That’s some racist s--- right there. I’m all for blm but don’t take advantage or get carried away. Ems lyrical ability alone puts him in the convo regardless if he makes the list. This is just racist and ignorant.
Jul 30, 2020 SSLP MMLP TES MTBMB KAMIKAZE with those 5 albums there you go, pac biggie em. 5 classics nobody has so many as Em. Also biggest selling rapper of all time!!!
Jul 30, 2020 Snoop been jealous of Em since day one lol they never ever been cool until recently when em started snoop wanted nothing to do with him But kept his mouth shut for dre When Eminem become successful and signed 50 Snoop started to f--- with him Because he became a lil gangsta affiliated and now when Em is looked at soft again, he ain’t f---ing with him no more Same with the game They all disloyal and care only about there image don’t ever forget that snoop betrayed Pac
Jul 30, 2020 at the end this will be good for us as Eminem fans because better believe he ain’t gonna be soft no more His music will only get better
Jul 30, 2020 Lol. So Dre helped him and he became a guy that people think he is a top 10 lyricist ? He basically says that. Dre helped Em with a lot of things and Em gives him even more credit than he deserves. I don't feel like this footage is recent but I feel kinda bad being a huge Snoop fan because he almost sounded as r-----ed as ye usually sounds in last 7-8 years...
Jul 30, 2020 I don’t believe this to be true. The black artists that go on nick Cannon podcast be putting Eminem in their top 10 when asked who they have in their top 5
Jul 30, 2020 That’s false I’ve never heard any rapper put snoop dogg in a top 10 list, but I have heard plenty of rappers put Eminem in a top 5
Jul 30, 2020 really? Who said that? I would be shocked if that’s The majority...no doubt hip hop artists respect Em...also cause a feature would give them $...but I think it’s 5e minority of artists who rank him that high... you got guys like Conway signed to Shady that would not put Em in his top 5 unless forced too... I agree when guys say no one in the “hood” listenes to Em...
Jul 30, 2020 who though? What generation? this new generation wouldn’t even put 2pac or biggie in the top 10...that’s why it’s an opinion...everyone can justify their list...
Jul 30, 2020 Who cares? His top 10 consists of rappers he grew up with mostly. Pretty sure he doesn't have Jay-Z in there either. Or Kendrick, and many others. Why does it matter.
Jul 30, 2020 What's this silly American presumption that only black people are from the hood? Are you that ignorant. You do realise there's thousands of hoods all around the world, with white people. White and black people. Hood is not a black thing, poverty is not a black thing. I'm from a rough town, I'm white. It's annoying to see this presumption all the time that if you're white you're from a safe rich little suburb. So incorrect.
Jul 30, 2020 I agree I didn’t write the correctly...social class doesn’t discriminate...you better believe every social class of white kids listen to Em or liked his music when he came out or still like him...whether you from lower class, working class, middle class or high income class... That’s why he successfully... but I grew up with plenty of multiculturalism...and my white friends liked em...my Latin friends were like he’s good and my black friends preferred black artists... that’s a generalization of course...but I’m willing to bet that’s the majority...I grew up in Detroit / Toronto...people form the D got love for him...but even knew generation of Detroit artists got more love for Royce than Em so it’s not surprising to see black artists or black hip hop analysts to NOT have Em in the top 10
Jul 30, 2020 People s--- on most rappers bad albums though... 50, Drake, Kanye etc etc Snoop included. I’ve even seen people say that Snoop has only got one good album lol which imo is a dumb thing to say.
Jul 30, 2020 Everyone on this forum...got love for Em...that’s why we are on this forum...let’s see the majority of ethnicity on this forum...forget social class...and I bet Em makes most top 10...we respect his talent, we like his music, we relate to him in some way...whether it’s the content he talks about or his musician skills... I don’t understand some south rappers success...but people form the south got love and relate to the, because they lived the same life...are from the same backgrounds...and so forth... snoop argument is valid...Em would not be a successful without Dr.Dre and that stamp of approval for hip hop afficinatos (Black culture is hip hop),,,..Em could have been an amazing underground artists if he signed with say Duck Down... Dre/em were the perfect match at the perfect time
