    This is no near classic but just the fact that it got to see the light of day makes me happy.

    The soundscape on this album is amazing. Dre got real f---ing musicians and an orchestra playing in the studio.. The budget for this album must have been crazy. This is the closest to Detox we will ever get. Much Better than Compton. Most musically advanced hip hop album ever made.
    In an age where everybody can build a cheap beat on a phone and people are f---ing with it. This is what hip hop needed.

    Few will agree with this, but in the context of a west coast album, the production on 2006’s Doctor’s Advocate is MUCH better than anything on either GNX OR the 3 Snoop tracks we’ve heard. Dre didn’t have a single production credit on Doctor’s Advocate — where the h--- are these producers today?!? One of these west coast legends needs to track these producers down and get a beat pack.

    Given all the west coast talent, it’s pretty sad that,18 years later, we haven’t heard a full album’s worth of top tier west coast production.

    Track is officially out in Europe, on Beats headphones the Beat is fire also the chorus is good, very clearly mixed not like Compton or The Contract. Together with the other tracks from the album it will be a b-----r . I haven't heard such a good Dre Beat for a long time and Snoop sounds bombshell.
