Dec 28, 2017 Nope. Moving on. It doesn't have that emotional, memorable effect previous Eminem albums have. It's just filler with s-----y production and nothing standing out. I don't get drawn to it and there's no urge to bump the s---, something that was there in the previous albums.
Dec 28, 2017 I listen to Believe, Offended, Castle, Framed, Tragic Endings but that's it. Believe has a monstrous replay value, amazing track. I did a cover to the first verses of Believe and Framed
Dec 28, 2017 Yeah I know what you're saying. Like, when Walk On Water and Untouchable dropped, I was like yeah they are okay, they got me kinda hyped for the album. But I also thought, I hope the album has better songs. Now, Walk On Water is one of my favorite songs. I do think its good, but also because there are many songs on the album worse than it.
Dec 28, 2017 Yup.. Still bumping it in the car and at work.. I still haven’t gotten to the phase where “it’s cool to hate on Eminem” yet.. Sorry.. I still enjoy when he puts out some good music.. Might not be nearly as good as he used to be but it’s still way better then the trash that’s out now a days
Dec 28, 2017 Funny how that works. Like Home/Nowhere Fast/Need Me totally ruin the album for me. Untouchable is a bit meh, because it's just way to long.. there is a lot of wasted potential in that song, if it was more focused on just portraying both sides of the discussion it would've been 99 problems levels of awesome. I like Remind Me (it's the "Real Slim Shady/Without Me/Just Lose it" of the album.. light fun song) and Heat, to me, is dope as f---. I would rather listen to Need Me twice than to listen to Nowhere Fast/Like Home once though.. i absolutely hate those two with a passion while i just dislike Need Me (would've been a better fit for a Pink album).
Dec 28, 2017 Can we be real, only the last verse of believe is really anything to talk about. People seem to be talking that song up like its amazing or something
Dec 28, 2017 Yes. I keep listening and enjoying everything but 'need me' and 'like home' due to the hook...
Dec 28, 2017 believe is heavy in rotation - but yes overall. 50% of the album is skippable but the other half is still in rotation for sure.
Dec 28, 2017 Nah, the way he switches up the flows is amazing. Em used to be really good at that (his own productions), sound effects, adlibs, inflection changes, etc. keep it interesting for me. All 3 verses are dope. In comparison, listen to something like lloyd banks who is a dope rhymer but his music is so boring because its monotone. The minimum wage flow, the second verse where he is talking about overpriced, precise, etc, and third verse is TES level. Song is dope dude all around.
Dec 28, 2017 Like Home is pretty decent. Has a decent beat, great verses but hook is ehh. Em got the bars in Nowhere Fast. But production is too glossy. Remind Me is catchy, but corny lines ruin it. .
Dec 28, 2017 Listening to Bad Husband right now with some Bose headphones.....such an incredibly dope song.
Dec 28, 2017 i agree, this might album sounds like it will age very bad overtime. hopefully i'm wrong.
