Nov 11, 2024 First off I appreciate the compliment. The d----s made out of bacon joke is to soften the blow of saying the fa---- jokes because like it or not its 2024 and if you just walk up there saying fa---- without something to kind of smooth it over you're going to be a homophobe... it sucks but it's the reality of life these days. And I feel what you're saying about bad jokes, I have yet to bomb tho, however that women joke landed ok when I said I can't help it if I'm just plain better than them at stuff, it was the examples that had crickets chirping, but I did get the light after the tranny joke and I am almost certain that thing i posted previously is the reason why I got the 1 minute left light, 2 minutes shy. I still had the crowd engaged and enjoying my jokes, they even enjoyed the tranny joke but my gut tells me that Adam's apple having a--- b---- wasn't feeling it, and ive got a pretty large gut so it's likely what happened. I record all my sets so I know what consistently hits and what ones are kinda meh... I booked one for sarasota and one for Tampa so I just need to refine the 5 minutes to strictly hitters, and whether some of you like some of the jokes or not, the ones that the crowd reacts to are staying in the set
