Nov 22, 2015 I don't get how you can deny that Logic is heavily influenced by other artists in 30% of his discography, but he adds something to it that makes it feel original and fresh. That's just my opinion though, but I can see why everyone calls him out for that.
Nov 22, 2015 Drake's the first guy to raise his voice over a hard beat? The Travis Scott beat thing, and the Oddisee beat thing, both are legit. The No Tellin' s--- is Jack Reacher 2: Jack Reaching.
Nov 22, 2015 dude the entire project is like Take Care, a mix of hard hip-hop tracks and smooth R&B-esque tracks. but Undeniable is 1000x better
Nov 22, 2015 It's his inflection and flow. It sounds exactly like most songs from IYRT. I'd argue it's a worse offense than using the same sample for a beat.
Nov 22, 2015 pulled the caddy into a McDonalds parking lot just to defend Logic in this thread and you turn around and spit in my face like that
Nov 22, 2015 what do you mean? you're in denial of him being heavily influenced on a ton of tracks and sometimes biting (not on UP or t-ts though really)
Nov 22, 2015 even people on r/hhh are saying he sounds like drake on I Am the Greatest and they're logic's target demographic
Nov 22, 2015 HipHopHeads on reddit aka one of the shittiest rap communities on the internet but plz tell me what Logic adds to his influences that elevates his music for you so much
Nov 22, 2015 First of all I like logic. I'm just being honest. If you can show me any other track where logic sounds specifically like this then I'll shut up. Also it's not as simple as raising your voice. It's the tone it's the "way up phrase" and his cadence. It's a drake thing there's no way around it. Seeing as he himself said "it was on some drake s---" I don't really see why this is much of an argument. I still enjoy his music.
