    That’s tough. MMLP was the better album but Relapse has so much material. He recorded so much material for that on experimental Dre beats. I’m assuming there isn’t too many unreleased songs during the MMLP era since I think that album was recorded in like a 6 month period?

    Oh we know that for sure since there were some songs on old tracklists in his autobiography. There could’ve been more though that he didn’t put on there. Still, I doubt that there was like around 20 unreleased songs or anything like that. Probably like 9-12 I would say.

    I think I remember Eminem saying he recorded 30 something songs for relapse. And that’s not including what he made for R2 before he scrapped it.

    Yea there was an interview during that era(don’t know if it’s the same one you’re talking about) where he said he recorded so many songs that he could’ve also had a Relapse 3.

    Yeah but R2 was supposed to have a different sound like darker without accents look cocaine n hit me with your best shot, then he went poppy coz of Paul. 50 Cent said in 2009, first one is good the second is exciting i remember... Now in 2019 said R2 was scraped because of interscope. They wanted Em to collab with Rihanna etc to 13 years old kids also females who didnt like the first one lol

    I think MTBMB was kind of meant to be a relapse 2. He couldn’t have some of the songs that fit the theme on the album due to sample issues

    Hit Me With Your Best Shot was from Recovery sessions. Much of Relapse 2 was on Refill. They were gonna be very similar.

    What’s definitely safe for me to say though is that Em’s best unreleased music is probably from in between MMLP and TES. He became a producer at this point and had already dropped 2 albums. Meaning he was now experimenting a lot(with beats such as the one on Stimulate or These Drugs) and his delivery in this era was peak as we saw on Devils Night.
