Dec 19, 2015 8. Live From The Gutter [Verse] One of the best verses on What A Time To Be Alive. Future is practically crying on this track while he reflects on his origins the gutter. Particularly when he speaks on waking up as a kid and sees scales, girls, bills, and h--- everywhere. Thankfully Future's verse is in the beginning before it gets ruined by Drake throwing subliminals at Chris Brown. I know them tears still fallin down on my last b---- This money made me hungry I'm a savage I watched my broad give up on me like I'm average A fiend for that lean I ain't start drinkin beer yet @FutureHive
Dec 19, 2015 I mean I don't even think it was that for the most part although he felt rly tacked on on songs like Live From The Gutter, I just think the tape was a business move before anything on both sides considering the time it was made in (throwing it out there so Drake can throw more subliminals regarding the whole ghostwriting situation, building hype for both, Future getting more mainstream recognition with probably the biggest cosign Drake's ever given out etc) and as a result alot of Drake's verses and cuts in the second half felt really rushed. There were some amazing tracks that came from it tho so I can't be mad. and yeah ty, I'm mainly here cause of people migrating but this place is nice asf
Dec 22, 2015 7. Blood On The Money At first this song wasn't to big on me but it has really grown on me. Future is so smooth throughout the whole track and it's filled with a shitload of quotables. Every line in this song could be someones user title or bio on social media. This is also what I believe to be one of Zaytoven's greatest works of production. Dec 22, 2015 same i didnt get into at first And s--- man i LOVE how they had zay has a guest producer...like until his tag comes in 3/4 thru the song, he isnt even on the beat at all. but then he comes in at his tag and adds his touch thats also my favorite part of future's verse.
