    I did not know what torrents were and know i know i guess. I was looking for southpaw and it told me to use a torrent to open the file to watch it and yea like i said im pc illiterate, so all you have to precaution for is to not be as stupid as me.

    knowing what torrents are did not get you in this situation

    i know for a fact that I and several other ppl on here are frequently involved with torrents and we havent gotten this

    Well i downloaded a torrent opener and then the mp4 for southpaw was corrupt so i figured it was bs and just fake and removed everything then i opened my browser and every folder and file refreshed and suddenly all these things showed up and i realized it wasnt that video it was everything on pc was messed up. I think i just downloaded a virus with the torrent opener if thats how it would work??? other than that i dont know what else i could of did.

    well yea, but for someone who has no idea what a torrent is, and with the ability to have different extensions and all those different dl buttons on a screen, its difficult for a beginner... it really is.

    you see all those dl buttons n click them, get an .exe file and just assume ur supposed to install it to download...:empalm:

    :kanye: Nah, I had to DL Google Chrome to get the file first and then I DLed that player you sent me. I was about to set it up but I had to give my dog a bath and then eat. I'm about to hop on the computer soon though, bless me please

    there is no "torrent opnener" bro, you probably had an exe file claiming to be a container, but it wasnt... for torrents you need torrent clients... utorrent,bitcomet, etc

    @DetroitSkills that sucks tbh
    I had a neighbor who was really good with computers, he fixed a lot of problems our computers had and even gave me games like SimCity 4 Deluxe. He moved away, but we still keep in contact.
