    very well said, i still love the show but noone should be able to honestly trick themselves into believing the first few seasons arent better than seasons nine through eighteen

    Trick ourselves? Lol, it's a matter of opinion and mine is that I find a lot of seasons better than the first few. I was curious to see what the general opinion was since I thought most agreed the first few seasons weren't as good. So I looked online and saw a list where people voted on their favorites and season 2 was 9th, season 1 was 12th and season 3 was 17th. 14, 6, 8, 10 and 5 were the top 5 favorites in order. Anyways, don't feel like arguing about this anymore.

    Anyways, tonight's episode has Al Pacino, Iggy, JJ Watt, Miley Cyrus, U2, Angelina Jolie, Taylor Swift, Bill Cosby, hologram of Elvis, hologram of Kurt Cobain, hologram of Michael Jackson as Peter Pan and commentary by Cartman. Sounds like a lot crammed into one episode, not expecting much but hopefully it'll be decent and there's something good since it's the season finale.

    Not a great episode but that taylor swift bill cosby duet was f---ing gold :blunt:

    Best episode of the season! This is the only episode that made me laugh out loud a few times. Lol @ the celebrity appearances and the racist cops/choking jokes with Officer Yates.

    Overall this was by far without a doubt the worst season in the history of this show, but I'm glad it ended on a good note.

    Thought that last episode was awesome. Season had some good moments and I appreciated the kinda strung together storyline, but overall pretty weak season. May give each episode a quick rating and review later when I have the time.

    Easily the worst ep of the season. Is your idea of comedy just referential? Every complaint youve had is that the show just isnt referencing enough current events but youve never had a single thing to say about story elements or actual jokes and this is why noone respects your opinions

    Or because he just called this the worst season in South Park history, when more than 5/10 episodes were genuinely great (ciss ginger, oculus rift, etc >>>). General consensus is that Matt and trey actually put some effort into this season (what with the over arching plots/references) and the overall quality of episodes has clearly improved compared to recent years

    I don't really need to give an explanation as to why I didn't like this season. It was simply mediocre, unfunny, and not good. Namely because of the plots of the episodes. Some episodes literally didn't even make me smile, let alone laugh. Perfect example that Butters virtual reality episode. What in the f--- was that? And that Randy as Lorde s--- was never funny from the start and they dragged it out through the whole season. That Lorde s--- was worse than the Coon trilogy. Idk if I had to name a Top 3 episodes of the season I think I'd say..

    1) Holograms
    2) Drones
    3) Gluten

    I agree with Arch, thought it was a below average season as well. Just not as funny for the most part, a few good episodes.

    Episode was great, followed on perfectly from the previous episode. This season was easily one of the best in recent years. So many highlights

    South Park is a great television show when nothings on, I remember watching all the time but it got boring on me, or maybe I just tired of hearing "you b------s, you killed kenny"
