Watching the new episode now and yeah it's kinda weird, so far they aren't even continuing the Cartman story and that's what I was most curious about. The cliffhanger in the Gerald story was basically just a false alarm that set up a different story that I'm not too interested in..

Definitely a very different south park lately, I agree with you guys saying the laughs aren't there nearly as much anymore. I guess it's more about the story now.

It's really not that bad but I can see how someone wouldn't like it. It reminds me of those old Eminem cartoons in a lot of ways.

I don't hate this season. I kind of want to see where they're going with it tbh. There's so much s--- going on now, that doing one episode to cover it seems like it wouldn't be enough.

Last episode was lit, I can't believe they got away with what they did but they did.

From what I was reading I expected the episode to s--- but d---, they can still do a lot of s---. Cartman could lose his girlfriend and well, there could be an epic season ender...

Highly hype for this.

I don't like these story arcs they've been doing for these 2 seasons. They stretch out a story that fits in one episode over the entire season with nothing funny happening. I hope they return to one contained story per episode in the next season. This is just forgettable and will have no replay value.

Even if it is building up towards something why does it need to have 5 straight episodes that aren't good to do so. If this season is like the last and has 10 episodes will one episode or maybe even less really be worth 9 s-----y ones.

I thought it was good. Garrison jokes opening it was pretty funny. Cartman "relationship whispering" was great.
