Well they certainly aren't 'building suspense' for me, nowadays I basically forget about the episodes each week till I see this thread on Wednesday or see a post from south parks Facebook page. Then I only really get excited to watch it cuz it's a good way to k--- 25 mins at work Wednesday night.

No real suspense over here lol.

The rude and crude south park.
I miss the old Cartman
The bigoted minded Cartman
The do anything Cartman
The doesn't have a girlfriend Cartman.
I hate the new South Park.
The serialized monster South Park.
At that time, I didn't laugh I didn't like South Park
Maybe South Park should do an episode about people not liking South Park.
That would be soooo South Park.
But I still love South Park like they love South Park
South Park Season 20, best yet.

I do not know how they're going to do individual episodes when everything on social media is about this collective fear and anger and doubt. There's less stuff to parody since everything is getting consolidated but maybe, maybe they'll do 8 serialized episodes and like 2 non-serialized ones like the good times.

I admit, I miss episodes where they parody 24 and have the English be the main antagonist. You saw when the powerful military took down the ships? Great message and it was funny too.

Come up with ideas for individual episodes that aren't like "The Coon" trilogy. I even forget that Mysterion was Kenny because Mysterion is supposed to be an unsolvable mystery.

Interesting, I thought Season 16 was good.

Season 15 is WOAT season of South Park. Worst episode is "Coon vs. Coon and Friends" because nothing f---ing happens in that episode.

I hated Season 16. I think Season 14-Season 16 were so terrible to me, because Trey and Matt were so burned out from doing "The Book Of Mormon", they just didn't have alot in the tank.

South Park is only still on, because every few seasons the shows changes in style. It's like 4 different shows with the same characters throughout the series. The show would've been cancelled after season 6 if Matt and Trey were forced to do the surreal style still.

I remember being young and stupid reading A.V. Club reviews that made me think "hmmm.... I wonder why that publication is pretentious and pandering; maybe it's because they're trying to hype the episodes up for the sole purpose of making themselves look like geniuses."

But yeah, they didn't have it in them. I will say that I admire their attempts to give Kenny a sort of way to explain how he dies and comes back the next episode; it was foreshadowing the continuity, the serialization and the new format of the seasons. One of the episodes even explained the f---ing origins of the City Wok guy, the f---ing City Wok guy.

If that isn't inevitability that they were tired with the current format, I don't know what is.

Yea, and as Big country pointed out, alot of people hate Season 18-present because of the serialized tone. But are they really going act like Season 14-Season 17 was that funny. Trey and Matt seemed to lost interest in the weekly format after season 13.

I was in a transitional period when I watched Season 19... I was impressed by how good it was; I was proclaiming "South Park is Back" because it had that f---ing impact it was lacking for a couple of seasons.

I wasn't even on a forum at that time until I found SXN80 this year. Do you know how hard it was to be on my previous forum, where a bunch of people claim to be cool only to be edgy emo fa----s who don't care about you and hate your posting style because they only care about themselves?

So... 2 days until election day and 3 days before a new South Park episode airs...

What you think is going to happen? If Hilary Clinton gets elected then I'm guessing that Mr. Garrison will celebrate in joy but if Donald Trump wins then I'm guessing we'll see Garrison f--- up the country.

Plus I'm hoping Gerald and Cartman will team up and Kyle will be put in the precarious situation to be like his father.

You'd think the night after Trump wins an election in shocking fashion they should have plenty of material.

Yeah I didn't watch it yet but read some feedback and most people don't seem too thrilled with it.

Does anyone watch the episodes on their phone by the way? I used to since I'm at work during this time and it gets slow at night, but the last like 3 weeks I'd try to watch it and I'd only hear the sound, no video. Of course the video works fine when I have to watch the commercials and theme song though lol, but stops working right when the episode starts.. not sure what's going on.

I got Hulu without the ads so watching it is a breeze.

Anyways, decent episode. Reflects how f----- up everything is now, Gerald is trapped in Denmark, Cartman and Heidi are going to use SpaceX to go to mars and everybody under the influence of Member Berries.

I think minor elements were rewritten like the Gentlemen part but I feel like this was an attempt to bring back the South Park of old. Didn't really work but still decent.

Hoping for the conclusion to be epic as s---.
