This is one of the best episodes they've put out in the last few years. I'm not expecting episodes to be on par with their early years anymore but I thought it was well done.

i mean they did kinda sacrafice better laughs to drive home their point this time around...i liked the episode like i said but it couldve been more entertaining lol

So do you agree with the episode's overall message? Bc it seems like they were critiquing points of view I've seen you espouse before...

and @Worm dunno. Yeah, it was well done but you don't think the show is kind of searching for a reason to still exist? It's like pieces and moments from better episodes meshed together typically now, last night's premier included. (that said, good episode, just not as refreshing and thought provoking as it shouldve been)

I agree. It declined awhile ago and I don't expect them to make the quality episodes they made years ago. For 19 years though they've done a great job at not pulling a Simpsons and becoming irrelevant.

Yeah I agree with their point that nauseating self righteousness, especially when it's just a guise for ones own insecurities, does nothing positive for the overall dialogue

I saw it more as an attack on the WPGs of the world, with u taking the role of Kyle

good point. at least they aren't simpsons. or family guy for that matter. they do a B-/C+ job, it's like an actual job they go to and do i feel like while coming up with more ambitious projects. plus, lets keep in mind they do this within a week so i feel like, again, its more about the challenge and exercise to them..

Finally saw the new episode (been busy and had to DVR it). I f---ing loved it! This is exactly what I was hoping for from South Park. They touched on Caitlyn Jenner, Jared, and Tom Brady all in one episode. PC Principal was a hilarious character and I hope he becomes a permanent character on the show now since they said the old principal was fired. My only complaint is I wish they actually showed Jenner make an appearance in the episode.

This is my first post in like 2 years, but I had to come in here and comment on this most recent episode...

I thought it was absolutely brilliant, and I could not stop envisioning people from this forum (that will go unnamed) being the "white PC college kids" crying about every inappropriate comment and blowing everything way out or proportion...it was so on the mark, there had to be people on this board that watched and thought "d---...they are straight up making fun of my life right now"
