After all he doesn't have to confirm it because it's clear that he is working on his next album.

You do realize a Kendrick or Drake dips well below the tech skills of modern eminem. So does old eminem... The reason ems music is so soncially bad is 200% because of his urge to show technical prowess. He won't compromise it to make better music, the only time he did we got recovery. Now the blend of tech skills and smooth enjoyable music em found in the early 2000's is something else.. Can't put into words how flawless he was. But at this point it seems as though we're getting nothing but a technical geared eminem

Listen to mmlp2 and any other artists work from the same time frame. That album is one of the most technical albums of all time

That's what I am saying, but you are talking about technical skills at just rapping. And even on that Modern Eminem got a lot of problems. Sure, he can construct good rhyme schemes and he just prove that he can rap fast, but what else you got? He is a lyrical miracle rapper these days, I see a lot of Modern Eminems on the underground but I never seen a Prime Eminem.

Modern Eminem got a lot of really cringeworthy lines and awful punchlines on his writtens, also he can't flow decently on the beat and when it's about showing emotion he is horrible too. On that aspect Drake and Kendrick are a lot of better. They are also better at actually creating at less decent and consistent projects and take their time to make good records. That doesn't require skills?

Prime Eminem is what I said recently x100 + even better technical aspects than Modern Eminem although he NEVER did a lyrical miracle track and for that he was the best rapper of all time.

You're confusing technical skill with artistic ability. My point is ems rhymes are more dense, his flow is more complicated, more multis and so on today. While I'm agreeing he's was better overall back in the day, his raps were nowhere near as complicated and technical skilled. But yes it does take more overall skill to make an eminem show Vs mmlp2. Things like emotion and overall artistic value really have 0 to do with tech skill. His flows are so ruff and hard to listen to now a day.. Definitely not smooth and easy on the ears but they're 3 times more technically complex now (even though it doesn't seem that way cause they sound s-----y)

Yeah I feel ya. But I bet you there is more Syllables in any 3 given songs on ems album than there are on drakes last project as a whole. Ems technical game is clearly what he's focusing on, if he wanted to make radio music or even mildy enjoyable songs with a chill vibe he would. People just don't seem to get he's not in the game to make that style of music at this point

I don't agree with the part about that his raps were not near as complicated on his Prime but the rest of your comment is right.

I'm trying to say that I appreciate overall a lot more "artistic ability" like you said than technical skills, but I can see that we both agree on this.

Absolutely. His tech skills back in the day were so d--- impressive because they were used in meaningful songs or to make music sound better... Now a days the big words and crazy rhyme schemes lead to off beat sounding useless word crunching blabber
