Another day goes by, another day where I think this movie is going to blow everyone's d----s off. Either that or s---. No in between. Also, enjoy what could be the last SM solo outing in the MCU. Holland has one more on his contract after this film; likely a team-up/avengers-esque movie, then back to Sony!

to be honest I have been seeing headlines about Tobey Maguire, Willem Dafoe, Kirsten Dunst, Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and Charlie Cox returning since like December onward. Basically ever since other legacy actors were confirmed. But I never believed any of that s--- because they were unreliable sources, and some of those could still be untrue.

Sony and Disney hasn't actually confirmed the return of Goblin but they released evidence proving he's back. And even then they haven't decided to confirm it. but I think you and I are on the same page saying basically the same things. They know what they're doing.

extremely slim. the current sinister lineup is rumored to be Goblin, Ock, Electro, Sandman, and the Lizard. Most people speculate #6 to be ASM2 Rhino, but I am hoping it's MCU Scorpion. It could also be Venom, but like I said I think that is highly unlikely

Sony just renamed their cinematic universe from "Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters" (awful name btw) to "Sony Spider-Man Universe"

which heightens chances of Spider-Man in Venom 3, I think

and to your other point, all I can tell you is: you can count on Matt Murdock the lawyer showing up in this movie, but not Daredevil the superhero.

what is that supposed to mean?

I know people can get exhausted with superhero films, but this film and the MCU as a whole is tackling the multiverse which is something quite different from what they did for the past 10 years or so. this might be the main theme of all of phase 4, or maybe even the saga. Like how the infinity stones were the main theme of the last saga, hence calling it the Infinity saga.

Eternals flopping will have to do more with being released during a pandemic rather than being unknown. The MCU is a juggernaut of a franchise, arguably the biggest in Hollywood, and back in 2014 Guardians of the Galaxy was a relatively unknown superhero team but the film adaptation was a massive success. 7 years later, the Eternals trailers trend at #1 on YouTube and has Jon Snow and Robb Stark in it.

If it flops, I guarantee it won't be because of the production quality.
