"Top 10 Favorite Young Thug Songs" thread!​

First off, I'd like to say some things:
1.) This was incredibly hard. I narrowed my library down to like 30 tracks, but each one that I cut after that hurt a little. I actually excluded songs that weren't specifically Thug's songs to make it a little easier (R.I.P. Good Times and Blood).
2.) I'll try to do 1 each day, but don't hold me to that.

(It feels cheesy having this right next to Raw, but it had to happen)
I was disappointed to see that they pushed a chopped and screwed version of such an already beautiful track on SS2, but at least this version still exists.

This pick might be a little premature due to it still having the novelty of being new, but I'm pretty confident that this will be one of my favorite Thug songs OAT!
It's almost like you get two Thug songs for the price of one when you compare his verses
That first verse where he does weird non-typical flow s--- like:

"Black n----- at the court counter there with a mink coat, huh"


And the second verse where you know it's gonna be blassic:
"You can take a ride through the lime light
I can take a ride through the wild life

So I peeped some of Young Thug's catalog and Kevin Gates. Mostly just random songs.

I gotta say, much like Future, it's not my NORMAL cup of tea, but I was impressed with both artists.

narsh, I kind of see where you're coming from when talking about Young Thug's voice. This dude has insane vocal range. Personally, I feel weird liking what he does with his voice lmfao. It's kind of like an instrument though. I'll be like yo, this dude sounds weird as f---, what is he doing, then two seconds later, s---'s stuck in my head and I like it.

Kevin Gates appeals to me a bit more, but I really like the conceptual writing by both. How they'll take a phrase and turn it into life situations and what not, just like I felt with Future. There's just something about Young Thug though, in a positive way....

In saying all of this, I don't know how far I'll go with both of their music, much like Lil Wayne, TI, or other artists I respect, but I'm not really into. However, I'm definitely intrigued, and I'm going to continue listening and exploring their music, much like Future's. You guys did a good job selling it to me, so props.
