Aug 30, 2016 He refuses to stand for the national anthem but will accept money from a racially divided country #doublestandards
Sep 5, 2016 Kind of upset I missed this thread, I saw a lot of funny memes when all this was going down. On another note, I think having to see all my conservative friends share dumb a--- Tomi Lahren's response to this was more disrespectful to America than what Kaepernick did.
Sep 6, 2016 I think a bigger issue to discuss is the unjust 4 game suspension of the greatest person of all time (Tom Brady).
Sep 6, 2016 I always opted out and sat down during the pledge in high school. Not on any protest s---; I just rejected the idea at every level. I still think it's silly.
Sep 9, 2016 I remember most kids hated having to stand up for the Pledge in junior high and high school. Nowadays, for me at least, sport events are the only places where standing up for the flag is a big deal. He sits, stands, does a cart wheel, who gives a s---. What he does on the field is what matters. Fans pay too much attention to an athlete's personal beliefs. He's a guy who's working. Worry about how he's playing on the field and that's it.
Sep 10, 2016 Tbh I hate that they do the national anthem before every single football game. It's pretty annoying and prolongs the kick off process. Just do it in post season and like special occasions during the regular season (9/11, thanksgiving,Christmas).
Sep 10, 2016 I don't even know the words to my national anthem, I don't give a f--- about my country or its soldiers or the flag.
