Buffalo Bill is a guilty pleasure of mine. Such a sick beat and the accent actually works great on it. "Christo-pher Reeve swimmin in my swim trunks. Mist-a, help me's what he said to me and then sunk." :emoji_fearful:

I'm a Relapse fan, to me, the accent gives the album a creepy vibe that a lot of songs like Buffalo Bill focused on. There were a few without the accent to like Beautiful and Deja Vu that gave you the old sense too. A good comeback album, maybe not, but I really enjoy it.

I agree with this. However I was just stating that in my relatively small amount of time on here thus far I've noticed a lot of people look down on MMLP2 and throw it sometimes below the likes of Recovery and Relapse, moreso than HHS or TR did. I really disagree with that notion, tbh, I feel like MMLP2 is the first true album we got from Eminem since the good ol' days, ya know? And to see some peeps on here say it isn't as good as Recovery or Relapse is mindblowing to me.

That being said, I agree that Relapse is well put together. Skits, production, all of that is knocked out of the park. The album content and sound itself just completely puts me off and I think it was an awful decision to release as a comeback album. Bad choice Em, bad.

My ratings (generalized to give you a shape of how I feel about the albums)

    MMLP2 80/100
    Recovery 70/100
    Relapse 65/100
    Encore 40/100

    • When he performed Stan at the 2001 Grammys with Elton.
    • The Moby incident at the 2002 VMAs.
    • The Ja/Benzino beef and all the awesome diss songs that followed.
    • When 8 Mile came out.
    • When he announced Relapse. Since it was his first album in 4 and a half years, there was so much hype and speculation and it was a pretty exciting time.

Twisted is great. Yela has a rough start but he finishes the verse nicely.
