The last thing that undermines the “Homicide” mission to prove lyrical rap superior is just what passes for lyrical rap on the song itself. For the last four bars of Logic’s first verse, he merely repeats that he’s “killing this sh*t” as if the mere act of repetition could make it true. Meanwhile, Eminem’s verse contains this missive: “Big bills like a platypus / A caterpillar’s comin’ to get the cannabis / I’m lookin’ for the smoke but you motherf*ckers are scatterin’ / Batterin’ everything and I’ve had it with the inadequate…” which rhymes, yes, but doesn’t actually mean anything or make much sense, besides containing perhaps the corniest rap dad joke of the last 10 years.

I fully agree with this article. This is the most accurate description of what I wrote in recent days, over the past year. Eminem scolds young people for what they do rap, but he himself has long forgotten how to do rap. He does some s--- instead of doing a cool rap. He lost his writing skills.

I'm sick of his stupid rhymes. Rap is not just rhymes. Rap is also deep lyrics - this is exactly what I found in the new school of rappers. Young rappers are now doing a much deeper lyrical crap than Eminem, who is concerned only with rhymes. I f--- what word can rhyme with. I want a normal rap that Eminem can't do.

Eminem can't do the same good rap that he did in the 2000s, and he can't do modern rap. In 2019 he can only do s---.

Em has moved beyond his sincerity. When he started it was all about substance, sincerity and hunger. At this side of his career it's all about ego, narcissism and bitterness. I can wipe my a--- with six mill, I'm the rap God, these mumble rappers don't give a f--- about the roots of hip hop.

Stop bitching Em and start making songs with substance again. Nobody wants to hear the same old recycled speed rap saying you're the goat.

Prove it MFer by making another entire album of Stan, Lose Yourself, Sing For the Moment level songs. Songs that actually matter that have great melodies and hooks.

This track is better than everything that Eminem did in 2018 and 2019. Eminem lost his emotional connection with his fans. Now he calls himself the greatest constantly and scolds the youth. He ran out of themes for the songs. All he can do in 2019 is to write diss. f--- him. Eminem was the greatest rapper in the 2000s, because he was telling interesting stories, he didn’t try to read super fast rap, he interestingly rapping his rap and people all over the world loved it. Nobody needs your super fast rap if you turned it into an end in itself.

New rappers do everything that you did in the early 2000s. New rappers have found an emotional connection with the audience - this is what you lost during the release of the MMLP2 and in subsequent years. Revival was a good attempt at resuscitation, but the promo was d--- bad and there were bad music videos.

It's very boring to listen to every new track where you constantly call yourself the greatest one again and again. This is not interesting to anyone, and even more so it is not interesting to your old fans who already know it.

You can prove that you are the greatest if you do something cooler than all new rappers. If you beat them in their field.

Eminem's new diss do not sound as cool as his diss in the 2000s. Then he knew how to make such a diss who wanted to listen again and again. Now he makes a diss that is impossible to listen to. Killshot is still the worst diss in rap history. This is a level down for Eminem. He could do a lot better. It is simply impossible to listen. Lyrics are also very weak. Beat is s---. Voice s---.

Those are three different songs from three different albums. He never had an album of those type of songs. Thats what made them unique and original in the moment. From what you're describing, I think what you're looking for is a pop album - in other words, a modern rap album, Closest thing I can offer is Revival, but we all know how that goes...ps...was "MFer" really that called for?...whoosh!, I mean, lets be sincere here, Eminem is the goat, he also seems pretty hungry and theres plenty of garbage pop rap to feed on(for substance, get it? lol nvm, im goin for a smoke, you wona smoke? you prolly dont smoke do ya?, you're prolly one of those health nuts, arent ya? haha, go f--- yourself - alec baldwin, the Departed)
