Eminem's songs/verses probably get scrutinized more because of his popularity and the fact that most of the songs he writes are either very personal or outrageous and contraversial.

Personally, I think his lows have been lower than a lot of artists. But that could also be due to the fact that his highs have also been better than most artists so the expectations are higher.

But if you take for example Lose Yourself, which is widely regarded as a classic and compare it to something like Big Weenie. It's pretty hard to fathom that it was the same artist who wrote both songs.

He is not talkin about streams, when it's about sales you know Future or A boogie has no chance of passing Em. Backstreet Boys ? Are they still a thing ? Only Ed Sheeran, maybe Grande and BTS can be higher than Em but I doubt both Grande and BTS have sales at all... Curtain Call is always on Top 200 albums, so not just Kamikaze but also TES and MMLP sometimes gets into Top 200 albums of Billboard too, I'm not sure about the best selling artist but he is definitely on Top 10 anyway.

EDIT: Kamikaze is at 119th spot. Curtain Call is at 62nd spot.

Album equivalent streams, not streams in general. If that were the case, this'll be a whole different story.
Yes the Backstreet Boys still exist. They have the best selling pure album this year, they should be #1 really.
Idk where Curtain Call comes into this picture. That one pretty much relies on streams, much like any greatest hits comp.

The 10 artists I mentioned pretty much have platinum and gold certified albums this year (Besides Sheeran anyway), even combining the Em album sales on the Billboard now, sure they might hit gold status, but never platinum.

Just looked Backstreet Boys up and yeah they actually released an album this year and even as the best seller it didn't sell more than Revival did lol. Don't get me wrong I'm kinda sure Em is not the top selling artist of 2019 because someone with actual fame must have released something this year even though I can't recall. But I don't believe many of the artists you have mentioned could have sold too much more than Em did anyway. If anything, it might be close. But why are arguing ? There are no actual info on this and I have no idea where did the OP get the source from...
