    I think I've mentioned this in another thread recently but I will always prefer MMLP. But I do think TES has aged better.

    Listen to the song. Second verse is about the fame. Third he goes back to the struggle to reach the fame

    Doesnt make sense

    Lol. BEcause 2nd verse was actually more of Eminem talkin' not Rabbit. It does make a sense actually.
    God only knows, he's grown farther from home, he's no father
    He goes home and barely knows his own daughter
    Does Rabbit has daughter ? Wasn't Em the one who complains about not seeing his daughter because of all the super stardom etc.

    No way. The way he closes the 3rd verse is explosive followed by that long rhyme pattern.

    The 2nd verse end is somewhat quiet and even the content wouldn't be nice as the final one.

    I think he did it on purpose to show that even though 8 Mile is a fictional story it's somewhat similiar to his path to stardom and B. Rabbit is pretty much him. That's why he raps from perspective of B. Rabbit in first and third verse.

    If ain't broke don't fix it. And I always thought he made this "demo" version back then before the release just for the sales, but maybe I'm wrong.

    1st verse B Rabbit from audience perspective, 2nd verse eminem from audience perspective, 3rd verse both from his own perception, reality - showing the parallels between him and the character. He refers to himself as "he" through first and second, speaks from "I" in the third
