    Before folks start feeling bad for Eminem, or thinking he’s underrated, here’s a quick reminder

    Eminem is a 48 year old act from the mid-late 90s, doing the same numbers as pop stars from the 2010s/20s. Market fatigue hasn’t even remotely settled in the way it did for other megastars in his time. It’s actually astounding.

    Has anyone talked about how “Godzilla” got nominated for best video and best hip hop at the mtv vmas this year?

    Eminem has the most best video nominations ever w 7. Most wins too. His first nomination was legit 20 years ago, and this is his first nomination in that category in a decade (not afraid)

    And it’s his first nomination in best hip hop since 2014 w berserk. First nomination was 1999. Pretty cool! Anyways

    Yeah I think it’s his best video since rap god. Genuinely fun, creatively done.

    Yeah man granted mtv isn’t what it was but it’s a fun metric. Back in 1999, when he was first nominated, dudes like David Bowie and Lenny kravitz were still getting nominated. Korn. Prince and Paul McCartney presented. Kinda crazy!

    MTBMB is so f---ing good. Marshall's voice on Never Love Again is Slim Shady LP mixed with Relapse. You gon learn is Slim Shady EP mixed with The Eminem Show his singing on Farewell is classic Shady singing with good flow. He basically gave us kind of a Relapse 2 with the murder theme Godzilla he spits his fastest
