    :sad3:

It's far from a top 5. And not better than Toy Soldiers or Mocking Bird imo.

So let's just take 5 songs which are easily top 5 contenders, All of those songs are far superior than Deja Vu.

    Sing For The Moment
    Rock Bottom
    Lose Yourself
    Till I Collapse
    Stan

And that's just songs i picked randomly. There are many other top 5 contenders which are a lot better than Deja Vu. Deja Vu is a great song, but extremely overated on here. If it was made during his prime it wouldn't get nearly as much attention.

Nah 6 years down the line and I still listen to it more than most of his pre hiatus songs, that's I rate it so highly.

If I was to make a quick top 5 it'd go something like:

    1. Rock Bottom
    2. White America
    3. Drug Ballad
    4. Deja Vu
    5. Murder Murder

LTS would definitely be a top 20 song but not Mockingbird. The song just seems lazy imo

Do you guys think any post-hiatus songs would ever crack the top 5?

They're both good songs in my opinion, man.

    Other songs I would consider top 5 would be something like;
    Sing for the Moment
    Stan
    Lose Yourself
    Rock Bottom
    The Way I Am
    Marshall Mathers

so how do I have a 's-----y taste' if I also otherwise have a very standard top 5...? a little harsh there, man

I wouldn't be upset if someone plugged in Bad Guy, Rhyme or Reason, So Far..., Going Through Changes, Deja Vu in their top 15 as long as they also had the standard tracks to show me that they really know Em's discography. There are worthy tracks, imo.

They are good songs but far from being top 5 worthy. Top 5 means 5 songs you consider to be the best. You can't have multiple top 5s,

I wasn't saying I have more than one top 5, I'm just saying I consider those top 5 worthy. As in I wouldn't think anyone was off if they had a variation of those songs as their top 5.

Going Through Changes, and to a lesser extent Deja Vu, fall into that category. Going Through Changes is a pretty special song to me and so it usually slips in around 5-8 on my lists depending on my mood at the time.

Personally, I could never see any post-hiatus tracks in my top 5..

That golden era was too great.

There's a chance I would give them one or two spots in my top ten

I seem to notice this forum seems to think a lot less of MMLP2 than sites that I used to frequent alot and I think it's unwarranted. In my opinion there are a good handful of MMLP2 tracks that could possibly slide into my top 25 rather easily.

How is Mocking Bird not top 20? That song is heartfelt and dope as f---. I understand you might not have it in your top 20, but i don't understand that reaction. It's not a reach at all to say Mocking Bird is a top 20 song.

I didn't mean any offense, bro.

I used to really like Mockingbird back when I first got into Eminem's music. Over time though I've grown to the belief that a lot of Encore's 'not bad' tracks are heavily overrated by a lot of people, considered way better than they really are in comparison to the awful tracks. That paired with the fact that the rhyming and flow are pretty lazy, I just fell out of love with the song as time passed. I feel like the song itself has an impact and emotion that outweighs the quality of the song itself.

That being said, I don't consider it a bad track, either.

MMLP2 is his best post-hiatus album. It has the most amount of tracks I like to listen to, that's how I usually rate them

If we're talking about best put together? That would be Relapse

If we're talking about tracks that have the most replay value, that would be recovery

Each album has it's own thing it does the best
