Just read a spoiler about Rogue One... Holy f---.

Darth Vader will have action sequences in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. We have been told that Darth Vader has had several suits of armor built for the film. There is a hero suit which is a direct copy of the suit we have seen in Star Wars: A New Hope (see Darth Vader Dream Team Assembled?), down to the lenses in the eyes. The most interesting part is that stunt suits have been built, which indicates Darth Vader will in fact see action.

The action sequences filmed are unknown, but there was work pitching the different ways Darth Vader could k--- rebels on a battlefield with the Force and his lightsaber. The storyboard “pitches” showed decapitated rebels, people being dismembered by Vader throwing his sword, levitating bodies to make human shields, and so on. The art was more violent than what we’ve seen Darth Vader do on screen before.

I wish there were more details on the setting of the ground battle but the most we could get was that it was a smoky battlefield.

I'm trying to decide if I should drop 199.99 on this FX Kylo Ren lightsaber,



I bought my first one about a decade ago when E3 came out, a FX Blue Anakin Skywalker lightsaber, still works to this day.

I was about 2 minutes in to TFA when I suddenly realised "holy s---, this is gonna be good". I was waiting for the film to fall off, looking for things to criticise, and it didn't happen. I just grinned like a child as the film continued to do cool things. It's not perfect, definitely plays things too close to the original at times, but it's just so much fun.

I still have some nostalgia for Episode 1. I was a kid when that came out and it blew my mind. Double f---ing lightsaber and all that.

Let's be honest folks, The Force Awakens is the closest we get to the original trilogy + TFA s----s on every prequel.

I thought it was phenomenal. Kylo Ren is what Anakain skywalker should have been in the prequels.

I left the theater so amped.

Everything hit the right chords with me.

Is it the perfect movie? No.

But is it one of the best of 2015?

Some humor seemed a bit forced, but I think they needed it because of how melo dramatic the Prequels were.


I could and have talked about this film for hours with the nerd mafia.

Think about it, Chewy probably helped raise Ben too and I was watching some old scenes from ESB and you see Chewy hugging Han after he finds him and it's just like oh man they were so close and Chewy got to see Han be happy and have a family and why'd it have to end like this
