looks dope. finally viewed FA for the 2nd time last night, and it was even better than the first time.

too hype for Episode 8 but Rogue One will hold me over until then quite well..

After viewing it last night, I started digging up the theory trail and came across this one on Kyle Ren which I find pretty interesting

1> Kylo says to the Vader mask "I'm going to finish what you started." Well what did Vader start? His last effort was to try and take the dark side down.

2> But in oder to take the Dark side down he has to get closer access to Snoke. He has to embrace the darkness and prove to Snoke he's ready. What does he tell Han Solo right before he kills him? "I know what I have to do, but I don't know if I have the courage to do it." I think he was saying "I know I have to cross a line so evil in order to gain the next level of access to Snoke. And that is having to k--- my own father." And what does he say after he kills Solo? "Thank you." And then later Snoke says "Get Kylo and bring him to me. He's ready to complete his training." Now this happend AFTER his fight with Rey, but I don't think Snokes decision to complete Kylo's training was based on Kylo's outcome with Rey. I think it was Kylo killing Han Solo.

3> We don't know how Kylo got that Vader mask. We don't know all the details of what happened when he was training with Luke. We do know if someone is powerful enough in the force they can transcend death. We saw Obi Wan's ghost talking to Luke. Vader could have done the same to Kylo while he was training with Luke. Vader could have shown Kylo a future that perhaps even Luke wouldn't understand/believe. When Kylo was talking to the mask he says "Show me the power of the darkness again." A lot of people I talk to thought he said "Show me the power of the dark side again." He doesn't say that... he says Darkness. I think he's asking for Vader to show him the future again... to remind Kylo why he's having to make this ultimate sacrifice for the greater good. Because just before that he's telling the mask "I still feel the pull of the light side, and Snoke senses it too." I think these all hint to Kylo is having to be bad... which is against his nature... but he has to in order to take the dark side out from within.

That's kind of unfair to judge Driver on, when it was his first film in Star Wars and his character hasn't even developed yet.

Hayden didn't look too bad a--- with that f---ing weird one dread lock hair cut in Attack of the Clones, or talking about how sand gets everywhere and he hates it.

He was ten times more whiney and pathetic than Driver was in TFA.

Let's see how Kylo develops before saying he was a miscast or that he can't be taken serious as a villain.

I mean, they made it pretty clear that he took a shot to the gut with the bowcaster by Chewy, and he was bleeding badly, plus he has not finished his training yet, not only that, but he was still struggling with the "light."

I personally think the whole point of him unmasking himself was to show Ben vs Kylo.

I think Kylo is going to take over, full force, since he was embarrassed against Rey. I don't think the "light" will seduce him anymore.

Say what you want, but Kylo with the mask was f---ing fantastic. It doesn't matter how vulnerable he seemed in TFA, if he ends up even more ruthless and dangerous in the next two films.

At long last I have finally seen this movie. And man was I impressed. I'm too afraid to admit that this was better than Empire Strikes Back but I think it is. It has not ruined the series at all. It has made it better.
