Oct 6, 2015 it's f---ing star wars. there's silly illogical s--- in it. It honestly doesn't bother me that much Yes I found the gunguns annoying. Moreso than the Ewoks because they actually talked.
Oct 7, 2015 i'll take the gunguns anyday the battle between them and the droids>>>>>>> also their underwater city>>>> and Boss Nass>>>>>>>>
Oct 7, 2015 lool... which prospect is worse, pt or ot fan boy? I think the PT films are exceptionally corny overall and the majority of SW fans will agree that OT is superior... whatever, like i said @Dew already handled yew
Oct 7, 2015 they're both equally bad because they're fanboys lol i know plenty of people who think the opposite is true or that both trilogies are great or that the SW movies in general are bad or they're all just okay. it literally means nothing lmao in no way did he 'handle' me
Oct 8, 2015 I don't understand how anyone could choose any Star Wars film over Empire Strikes Back. Hoth, Yoda training, meteors, and Luke vs Vader with the reveal? GOAT Star Wars. Not even close.
Oct 8, 2015 No need to be s-----y. I don't mind having different tastes, I actually respect it, but WHAT makes Episode 1 your favorite, over a film like Empire Strikes Back? Other than "I just enjoy it more." As I said, I don't understand it, enlighten me. Phantom Menace seemed overly cheesy and incoherent, for the most part. I liked Darth Maul though. Here, I'll give my stance. Empire Strikes Back had, probably, the most entertaining dialog of any of the films. Also, Yoda training Luke was the gateway into learning about the Force for the first time, so it was a HUGE deal. The cold, ruthless actions of Darth Vader during the film. Force choking anyone who made a mistake. Plus, the tension between Luke/Vader during their fight... Thinking Luke could avenge his father, then learning the Vader was his father. When I watched that movie for the first time, I was f---ing blown away.
Oct 8, 2015 Well, for one there's Darth Maul, who is one of my all-time favorite villains. His design, his combat style. Everything about him just screams awesome to me. And the Duel of Fates>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Then there's the locations in TPM (or in any of the PT movies). They're beautiful and everything is on a much grander scale than what was seen in the OT movies. It truly feels like there's this vast universe with all sorts of amazing locations and creatures, where as the OT feels sort of small to me. Like we only see a tiny sliver of the conflict during those movies, and the PT shows this huge expansive war happening. The general design of things in the PT for me is just>>>>>>>>> I also really love the pod race, strangely enough, since I dislike almost every other set of scenes like that in the entire saga. Not a big fan of vehicle centered s--- like that, but for some reason the more I see it the more I love it in TPM. Jar Jar is also honestly not bad. Ewan and Liam>>>>>>>> I also enjoy the political s--- in the PT as well. It's not boring for me, and I honestly wish there would've been more of it. There's cut s--- from the movies that explains things even further and sets up things like the rebellion. It's great imo
