Dec 4, 2014 Over the last few days I watched all the Star Wars with my friend just finished it up a few minutes ago definitely pumped for this movie
Dec 5, 2014 Yeah I went back and watched all of them after the trailer came out. Definitely hyped for this LOOOL at the George Lucas double lightsaber
Dec 5, 2014 Not really into the new lightsaber but I am excited for the new film. I've seen 4 Star Wars films at the movie theaters. A New Hope and Return of the Jedi (when they were re-released in the 90s) and Phantom Menace and Return of the Sith. They were all incredible film experiences, especially A New Hope, which I saw at an IMAX theater.
Dec 11, 2014 I am dissapointed by there being no George Lucas involvement in this film. according tho this article he hasnt even seen the new trailer yet. http://www.cnn.com/2014/12/09/showbiz/movies/george-lucas-star-wars-trailer/
Dec 11, 2014 http://geekunleashed.free.fr/photos/photos/lucas-spielberg-r----stormtrooper.png pretty much sums up Lucas' involvement in the Star Wars films
Dec 21, 2014 George Lucas actually is somewhat involved for the new trilogy, he is an encyclopedia for the creative writers. They can ask him "George, can the force do ____ or can it do ______" and he'll tell them "No, the force can't do that because __" and just s--- like that. He just tells them what can be work and what can't when it comes to the "science" of the Star Wars universe.
Jan 13, 2015 George Lucas Had Originally Planned To Direct 'Star Wars 7' For A May 2015 Release Chatting with USA Today about his upcoming animated film "Strange Magic," it's revealed that Lucas had a different plan before Lucasfilm to Disney. He had already developed a new trilogy of movies, was going to direct 'Star Wars VII' himself, release it in May of this year, and then sell his company afterwards. Certainly, having a newly relaunched franchise to add to the package would've made Lucasfilm all the more valuable, but Lucas looked at it a different way. "The time is more important to me than the money," Lucas said, though it should be noted the Lucasfilm sale netted $4.05 billion dollars. And at the end of the day, he's just excited to be an audience member for the series for the first time in his life. "The only thing I really regret about 'Star Wars' is the fact I never got to see it — I never got to be blown out of my seat when the ship came over the screen," he explained. "The next one, I'll be able to enjoy it like anybody else." s
Feb 3, 2015 Pretty hyped for this movie. They´re rerunning the series on local television this month, and g.d. it´s still as good. I don´t know what to think of George Lucas not being involved this time. Maybe Disney will use some of his script, as the article Dew posted said it was already finished. ps. I don´t hate Hayden Christensen because of the prequels, I think he did what he could
Feb 3, 2015 I saw the original trilogy first when I was 7 or something. I was blown away of course. I just re-watched A New Hope not too long ago but haven't seen Empire Strikes back, or Return of the Jedi again. I never watched episodes 1-3 though. Always hear mixed things about them. I will finished re watching the first trilogy and then will finally watch episodes 1-3 and see this in theaters.
