Apr 3, 2016 No idea lol I feel so mixed with this movie like I said maybe my expectations were way too high so I have a weird taste in my mouth about it
Apr 3, 2016 I feel almost exactly the same, but the difference is, I like it and I think it's good, but it could be better and I started to see its flaws.
Apr 5, 2016 @Sith Lord Just like the movie, ok? Rewatched it the other day. Def my third favorite Star Wars movie. f---ing love it. So many GREAT sequences/scenes/quotes. But still.. Rey grabbing the lightsaber from Kylo >>>>> Other amazing scenes: Spoiler Falcon chase off of Jakku, f---ing Christ, this was incredible. Kylo force stopping the blaster Kylo mind probing Kylo and Han Solo, saddest moment of Star Wars, Han Solo was my favorite character Rey reverse jedi mind trick and Darth Vader line. Kylo force stopping Rey Rey touching lightsaber and having visions, and hearing Vader, Yoda and Obi Wan in the visions.. INSANE. BB8 C3PO interrupting Han/Leia lmao Finn was great Finn and Poe escaping in a TIE fighter Kylo Ren's one liners were awesome Rey scavenging and, of course, Luke at the end, chills.
Apr 5, 2016 I thought it was really cool when Spoiler The whole movie mentions Kylo being seduced by the "light" but if you watch Han's death scene, there is light behind Han, dark behind Kylo, and as the sun's light fades out, Kylo turns on his father and kills him... Plus, Han touching his son's face.. Christ, f---ing incredible scene.
Apr 5, 2016 @Fitzy going to rewatch the movie again in a few days since my roommate got the blu Ray I think I'll enjoy it more this time around then the first
Apr 5, 2016 I'm not accepting anyone disliking this movie. The only thing I felt that was stupid was Starkiller base. I thought it took away from everything else going on. Otherwise? Incredible movie. I don't understand anyone who calls this "A New Hope" remake. It has some similarities, but it really isn't the same. There are a ton of new things going on. I think they should've just made it a rescue mission to save Rey instead. I agree though, I think 8 has a chance to be better. There are so many different directions that they can go, and by the look of the new set photos, it looks like it's definitely going to be different.
Apr 5, 2016 why? the franchise has a massively split fanbase and this went in a different direction than the franchise has been going in for years. lot's of people are obviously going to dislike that if it hasn't lined up with what they love about SW
Apr 5, 2016 2 theories I just read: Spoiler Rey is Palpatine's daughter, creating conflict for Luke training her, and creating a target on her back for the Resistance and the First Order. Snoke is using Kylo Ren to start a civil war between the Resistance (Luke vs Leia). I think they're both pretty cool, but I doubt it lol.
Apr 5, 2016 that scene was bs like the whole fight between rey and ben. completely illogical and storywise the movie was such a big let down tbh on the other hand it had fantastic visual effects
Apr 5, 2016 real talk that was the point were i couldt take him serious anymore dude was a miscast at least for this role
Apr 5, 2016 Agree that the guy who played Kylo didn't look the part he looked too average to be a sith or even in a Star Wars movie at least the guy who played Anakin looked like he belonged in the films and looked like a Sith Lord
Apr 5, 2016 Explain how it's illogical. The ONLY scene with Rey that I found illogical was when she did the jedi mind trick to the storm trooper. Her fight with Kylo was completely believable. 1. Kylo took a shot to the stomach from that powerful crossbow that was blowing people away all movie. 2. Kylo was over confident, and was not trying to k--- Rey, just like Vader wasn't trying to k--- Luke. He was trying to become Rey's teacher and recruit her. It's not like Rey conjured up Force lightning, or was throwing trees at him, or even flipping like a cartoon character (prequels). She was fighting an inexperienced fighter who was severely injured from the bowcaster, was over confident, and he was trying to recruit Rey, not k--- her. By the way, although Rey had no lightsaber training, she obviously could fight from her time on Jakku. She took on like 3 aliens with her staff with zero problem. So, again, how was it illogical? GOAT scene. Aside from Starkiller Base, amazing movie.
Apr 5, 2016 How does one look more like a Sith Lord? lmfao I mean, Hayden Christiansen looked nothing like Darth Maul, Palpatine or Dooku lol Plus, they made it clear that the new "bad guys" would not be Siths. Kylo is the leader of the Knights of Ren, which is different than Siths. Hate it or love it, Adam Driver was a much better actor and more believable in his role than Hayden Christiansen was, as much as I agree with Kylo being much better with his mask on. Him hitting his injured stomach during his fight with Finn to create adrenaline? Awesome. Personally, I think they should've waited till the last movie to reveal Kylo's face, and just kept him masked through the trilogy. But, I understand what they were trying to go for.
