Apr 28, 2016 Just read a spoiler about Rogue One... Holy f---. Spoiler Darth Vader will have action sequences in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. We have been told that Darth Vader has had several suits of armor built for the film. There is a hero suit which is a direct copy of the suit we have seen in Star Wars: A New Hope (see Darth Vader Dream Team Assembled?), down to the lenses in the eyes. The most interesting part is that stunt suits have been built, which indicates Darth Vader will in fact see action. The action sequences filmed are unknown, but there was work pitching the different ways Darth Vader could k--- rebels on a battlefield with the Force and his lightsaber. The storyboard “pitches” showed decapitated rebels, people being dismembered by Vader throwing his sword, levitating bodies to make human shields, and so on. The art was more violent than what we’ve seen Darth Vader do on screen before. I wish there were more details on the setting of the ground battle but the most we could get was that it was a smoky battlefield. @Sith Lord @Jerome @Cyreides @soul intent

May 15, 2016 watched Disneys Star Wars movie again on Blue ray today with some friends. Holy s--- this movie is so overrated. If you feel this movie is a 10 or even a 8, then ur wearing ur nostalgia glasses and need some perspective. - unoriginal -rehash of a ANH (copy- cat King JJ Abrams is at his best here) -lazy storytelling -heavy-handed theatrics like using beloved characters to manipulate emotions - a too perfect female leading lady - the actor who played kylo is a big miscast (he doesnt even look like his mother and father) I think over time this movie will be looked at as Ep1 is now tbh PS: Mr Williams OST for VII is prob the worst of all SW movies.

Here you go Spoiler Apparently Rey is a reincarnation of Darth Vader, meaning that every so often, the Force chooses an individual to bring balance to the Force. However, because they are so Force sensitive, they end up having trouble going towards the light and end up going to the Dark Side of the Force. Luke went to the first Jedi Temple to learn about this disturbance, and it will bring some conflict upon training Rey. Also, the movie will be called "The Echoes of the Dark Side" This s--- might be not be true, but I read that it came from a pretty reliable source. IDK how I feel about it yet, but at least it's different from what I initially thought.
May 16, 2016 I've watched it several times, and spaced it out over time. It's better than ROTJ, ROTS, TPM and AOTC. As many flaws as I can find in TFA, I can find in all of those movies, especially ROTJ and ROTS, which I like both of those movies. Like, cmon, ROTJ was almost the same thing as ANH, but this time, they made the opening to the Death Star so big that they could fit spaceships in it... Oh... and Ewoks... and the stupid, elaborate plan to free Han from Jabba... ROTJ is a mess, but I still love the movie. I even just watched TPM and ROTS recently with my son, and I'd still pick TFA over them. Still ain't touching ANH or ESB though. I'm just hoping the next few movies expand on the characters a bit more. Finn especially. We've never seen a storm trooper turn, or even be a centered piece in the story. I hope they don't stop expanding on his past. I also hope Rey is random, and they bring something new to the table with her, and have her REALLY struggle with the Dark Side, unlike Luke. Luke barely had an issue with it in the original trilogy, which I wish he did. There's a lot of hopeful things going forward for Star Wars, and the next movie is in the hands of a former Breaking Bad director, so I have a lot of confidence they'll do great.

May 17, 2016 Outside of the first sentence, all of that is pretty believable TBH. Even than, it's still a small piece of what episode 8 will be so within context of the movie I wouldn't mind it as long as they execute it right.
May 17, 2016 I seriously have a LOT of confidence in Rian Johnson to pull it off. I'm more worried about episode 9, than anything. The guy who directed Jurassic World is directing it, and although I have a guilty pleasure of Jurassic World, it's definitely not a great movie, to me.
