Jun 30, 2016 White people are more likely to abuse drugs and deal drugs than black people but black people are more likely to get arrested for it. Why? Because police officers are told to sweep through African-American (and other minority neighborhoods) more often than a cacausian neighborhood despite the statistics telling a different story. Not to mention the disparity in crack and cocaine sentencing. You're clueless if you think African-American neighborhoods are patrolled more because they commit more crime. The problem is much more complex than that.
Jun 30, 2016 there isnt really any concrete proof that would point to that being true. I'm sure that theres a few studies that do though. and im black. You could say that blacks are more likely to get caught dealing/abusing than whites though due to systemic racism and other reasons
