Jan 11, 2016 What this means is, Kanye has a safety net, his unbelievable stans. Now I think Yeezus is decent and isn't trash but when the backlash was at its height the other side of the argument was really delusional, saying it's his best work. SWISH might be a meme, and new people to the interweb will actually buy into the meme and think the album was good, when it wasn't. Now I know it won't be a SBTH situation, Kanye wouldn't scrape the bottom of the s--- barrel like that.
Jan 11, 2016 Not really. It was s--- on by purists and non-purists, easily Kanye's most divided album. It's good, or, well, decent, but when it faced extreme criticism, some people made it out to be epic, when...y'know, it wasn't.
