Will say tho, if I didn't have Sprint I most certainly wouldn't have Spotify. Data charges are ridiculous

Only complaint with streaming (other than exclusive releases) is that you can't just shuffle your music when you're not sure what to listen to.

mate i've spent enough bloody money on digital things that don't exist in real life physically to ever want to try this s---. it's the new trend, selling s--- that' isn't there to make 100% profit. I will not partake in this music digital streaming service bullfuckery. it can f--- off, along with all these other digital purchases in f---ing everything - get f-----. If i get a "hay u man dont download plez" i will continue, f--- telstra, i can't even call them without speaking to an indian c---- with a 5 second delay between the conversation.

It's not just music too, you play a video game? "oh well it's 100% free and it costs you absolutely nothing, but those really cool new items and new characters cost a one time price of $20 for the collectors super ultra fan deluxe edition you get all of them half price IN THE FREE GAME. not enough digital numbers in game next to your currency? well you can buy more! with this totally FREE GAME!!"

all of it, i fucken hate it all. f---.

I take it you don't buy cosmetics in Dota 2 then?

Coz my brothers do that every now and then.

On topic I just D/L my music. I should probably buy an SD card to put into my mobile to carry my music around with me.

lots of disagreement here, not making my decision easier tbh

Not all of us are rich res!!
I don't, I just keep the current version. I liked pretty much everything that was updated in the April version, and I'm generally not a big fan of demos

I've been streaming for a year or so now, really no complaints other than the amount of data it'll use if you don't have the songs saved to your phone.

Originally had done this because I had to, didn't have a computer at home until yesterday. I'm already annoyed at the fact that I have to log into Connect so my music appears in iTunes. It's not bad, but the internet went out due to some crazy a--- storms so as soon as it disconnected, all the music disappeared. I'm gonna download everything when I have more time this weekend.

I've got a 11,000 song library that I've built over the last 10 years or so, and just like you, I'm anal about tagging/coverart/etc.

But once Apple Music came out, I switched to that and didn't look back. It's gotten to the point where I've deleted older albums and replaced them with the Apple Music versions because they're higher quality.

    Pros:
It's just make sense to be able to pull up any song ever on your phone the second you want it, and not have to settle for some s-----y YouTube rip. And it makes sense that the second an album drops, it's available to you on your phone, no matter where you are.

Downloading/torrenting music will never die out, but the 9.99/mo is a low enough cost for me that I'll probably never do it again.

    Cons:
I haven't had any issues of any of my music being deleted, but I did have a scare twice where my phone logged me out of my Apple Music and my library had no songs. Logging back in fixed the issue, but it's still a gutting feeling until you're logged back in and your library loads up again.

And also, sometimes Apple Music does this weird thing where (like @Boyz N The Suburbs said) an album will get stripped down to 2 tracks one week, and then put back up the next week. It's only happened twice in the time I've been using it (since it launched in June of last year).

    Overall
100% will never cancel my subscription to Apple Music for as long as the service is available. For a service in its first year, it launched already well developed, and it's only going to get better. In the end, it really is just the ability to jump in to any artist's discography in seconds, no matter where I am. It's not a perfect service yet, but it'll get closer to one over the next few years.

The same is true for Tidal and Spotify.

So your library is streaming from iCloud? Or do you have everything downloaded?
