I'd give it a 7.5/10
I feel like it gets overshadowed by the other incredible tracks on the album.

The beat is really repetitive for a Kanye (especially a mbdtf) track but the lyrics are fantastic, 8/10

Are there are people that still believe Yeezy ain't an accomplished lyricist I put this one on the bottom half as far as MBDTF goes but it's still a very strong track: 8/10

Imma give it 7.5/10.

Ye & Raekwon killed the verses, & Cudi was amazing on the hook.

I love the Turtles sample (& cover, sorta), & i love Mike Deans (or was it Cudis?) guitar riffs. Just loved the instrumental as a whole, very memorable.

Overall, i thought it was a d--- great, d--- memorable song, where the artists really put in their 100% potential. Just not something i find myself replaying a lot though, nevertheless, i still love it.

8/10 for me. The electric guitar throughout the song is epic. Kanye delivers really great verses. Rae's verse was cool but I've never felt that it's ever added that much to the song. Cudi's hook is good too, it's definitely grown on me over the years. Great song overall.

Week 4
Drive Slow - Late Registration

Drive Slow is a single off the Late Registration album. This song features Paul Wall, GLC and T.I. I'm gonna be honest and say that I've only heard the album version and watching that video was the first time I've listened to T.I.'s verse, I'm not really familiar with it. However, going off Kanye West's, Pall Wall's and GLC's contributions to the song they were all very solid. Starting off with the production, it's very subtle and was sampled off Hank Crawford's 'Wildflower', I thought it was really good and flowed well with the song.

The idea of driving slow is that you don't have to rush your life. You can relax for a while and never know, you might meet someone or bump into an opportunity. Kanye's verse talks about back in the day when he lived in Chicago and his friend Marley who was rich and he and Kanye looked up to him crazy. They would drive around in a nice car where they would attract women. Kanye's teenage pants were ready for action but his friend told him 'dont rush to get grown, drive slow homie'.

Paul Wall describes a typical day for him as a baller, cruising down the street in his nice car that has them elbows pokin wide on that 'candy Lac' which attracts lots of women. I thought he had a great delivery and I enjoyed his verse. And GLC's verse was pretty much the same where he brags about how he's got everything when he is rolling around the streets including his clothing. These guys are just going to enjoy the ride a appreciate what they already have and drive slow homie.... cause you'll never know homiee.

Jakey's rating: 7/10 - Yeah it's a pretty good song. Average in Kanye's standards but it's still enjoyable.

9.5/10 song. In my eyes it's top 3 on LR. Beautiful beat and all the verses are smooth. Favourite verse is Paul Wall's.

Screw objectivity this is a 10/10 song for me I absolutely love this one. Everyone killed it but man T.I's verse has helped me maintain a proper perspective for over a decade
