    So I guess it would go like this:

    -Mods/admins pick an album to be reviewed.
    -Section is opened up for reviews, everyone who wants can submit.
    -Mods/admins pick the best one and feature it on the site

    still a bit confused but I guess I'll see when it goes live

    i thought it was gonna be more like a page with tons of f---ing albums and you could rate any or as many albums out of 10/add a written review. that page would show the average ratings for the respective albums and there'd also be a section on your profile showing which albums you rated

    1- there will be min. words in order to do reviews...any troll reviews will get the member privileges gone right away
    2- this is actually going live tonight, not in few hours.... mis read @Slyk posts

    for now, it will be like submitting a thread but in a review like page...where members can like your review and comment on it....the review icon will have alert counter if new reviews posted

    i know what you mean about we open albums for reviews and we treat it like metacritic...for now this is not planned but we will see

    kinda wish it was like metacritic.. it'd be much more accessible and quicker when you're not tryna type out a full blown review

    its interesting take that we can develop in the future, idea was that for big albums like SWISH that might get 10-20 reviews...we can have them all in reviews page, and feature the best one... people like @Narsh might quit if he gives Eminem new album 5/10 ... but cuz it uses metacritic weight it ends up getting 9/10

    but see 10-20 reviews out of the maybe 500 active members is nothing. I get that we can all vote but I'd rather have everyone more involved if we can just all give a simple rating for the album.

    also dont think it'd result in an eminem album getting a 9/10 lol

    but an eminem album is only like one instance..

    would still be nice to have a general s80 concensus on various albums. definitely think the current idea is still fine and being able to vote on the best review to be chosen for the site but i feel my idea should be implemented also (not that any of my ideas do :emoji_sleeping:)

    I agree with @Jet, a review section doesn't need reviews, only scores and maaaaybe some one-liners :kappa:

    my first idea was going to be exactly what your talking about...then i decided to give everyone ability to review it after i seen what happened in the blog discussions ... so many times @Narsh and @BigCountry would have different ratings than each others...this way i can give both their reviews the attention it deserves

    So, from what I understand, at the beginning there will be a select group of users who have the power to publish reviews automatically (people who have written reviews in the past like me/@Narsh/@Swizz/@Peter Parker/@WPG/etc). Anyone else can submit reviews for approval by staff because we don't want a bunch of s-----y writers cluttering up the section with their 9/10 Love Story reviews. Once people have proven they're capable writers/won't troll, they will be granted the ability to automatically submit them. Correct me if I'm wrong, @Koolo?

    I also like @Jet's idea of having a metacritic type thing that averages scores. Maybe we could have two scores, one where anyone can submit a numerical score without writing a review, and one that only takes into account the scores of people who have written reviews. The more statz the better.
