Oct 3, 2016 I liked Control System if we're being honest but These Days was an abomination. The Book Of Soul in particular was great. I said this in a thread a few months back but the problem with TDE is that every artist on the label is trying to be Kendrick and recreate TPAB, 90059 is a prime example of that. Blank Face is the equivalent of elevator music. TDE fell off hard since 2013. At least we still got Isaiah.
Oct 3, 2016 Other than the opening title track, I don't remember a thing about it. I always liked that song though because of the "my girl died and I lost my mind, I'm off everything except heroin" line at the start of the 2nd verse.

Oct 3, 2016 i know right, Q and Jay rock follow Kendrick's anti-mainstream path and the fans (of TPA eat it up like it''s just classic after classic. 90059 was a weird, forced album. Can't even remember Q's new album except 1 song. Q and Rock had better albums when they weren't signed to TDE. "tpab will sell 1 mill 1st week" i mean, they are delusional as s--- at TDE so it only makes sense for TDE stans to say everything that's s---, is good.

These days one of the worst rap albums ever made period.. like that s--- is so bad it makes migos sound good. -Jay Rock is only famous for his perfect verse on money trees. He doesnt have an original style cuz he bites oldschool wc more than others. -Isaiah is a drug addict whose brain is so damaged that he doesn't know how to make music. He can't even rap
Oct 4, 2016 I think SZA has a unique voice but im not really sure what direction she is going with her music....there are only a handful of songs I actually listen to from her and its rare that ill play those I like her and i think she could make good music that breaks out into the mainstream, she just needs some direction and good coaching. she definitely reminds me of Erykah Badu
