Apr 22, 2017 I think this and Safe are both top 5 songs he ever made, this the most deliberate he's ever been with a certain theme/concept. There's a direct contrast between this and Safe. This album will be incredible, he's up to something. More than anything, this song is a statement that he will never be what everyone wants him to be, he will never be the widely accepted mainstream success, he will always make left turns and push himself in new ways sonically which will be off putting to even his biggest fans. All eyes were on him to make his crossover single and he makes the most experimental song of his career, practically omitting words and the English language altogether; right after showing that he can sound like a perfectly clear and normal rapper on the songs and features leading up to it. The video is also very strong and symbolic, the most carefully crafted thing he's ever put together. He's building a big image rn.
Apr 22, 2017 i think the most concerning part of this is that 300 thinks this is the song to blowup. no way thug doesn't have at least 50 songs in the vault that are better/have more radio appeal.
