    Yeah I kinda miss practical effects as well especially since CGI looks so bad a lot of times these days (due to the animators having to crunch and not having enough time)

    I’m watching Thanksgiving right now. It’s crazy to see Addison Rae in this movie. I’m liking the women so far. Seems like it’s gonna be a decent movie.

    Looks a little friday the 13-ish! Interesting.
    I'm mostly excited for Scream 7, Exorcist "2" and Smile 2.

    I haven't watched the series yet. I did watch all the CP movies. Does it follow the tone of the later movies (curse, cult) ? Or is it more drama/comedy?

    That’s probably why I’m excited for it, it feels VERY F13 and the last time Jason was on the big screen I was only a few months away from turning 4. I’ve been needing Jason back on the big screen since I was in elementary school hahah

    I’d say it has a good mix of both. Season 2 leans more into humor similar to how Seed was but it was still good. Season 1 and Season 3 both have a good mix of humor and dark tones of Curse and Cult. Season 3’s kills have also been GNARLY, like extremely gory. Sometimes I can’t believe they allow it on TV

    Heard good things from this one from people who saw it early, apparently its entirely from the killers perspective and got compared to almost being like a nature documentary with really good kills lol

    I still prefer the original and Curse to the funny ones but I gotta say Bride is a gem lol.
    Probably gonna watch the series if its on Netflix or something
