Oct 30, 2024 Yeah he was f---ing great and scary as h--- here. This movie is barely even mentioned, one of the most underrated ever lol. Its million times better than Dream Warriors or the faggy second part
Oct 31, 2024 Back to last night before starting todays marathon! Halloween 4 So, after people didn't want a Halloween movie without Myers, a new producer picked it up again. Both Myers and Loomis have severe burning wounds but are BACK! Imo this is as close to the original as they have gotten. Back in Haddonfield, most of the original score, Jamie as our new Laurie and imo a great 3rd lead (Rachel). I think Michael is a bit too much of a giant here, but he is back to stalking and creeping. The trick or treat scenes where he's haunting are so cool. The 4 Myers scene, dope. But the most painful thing to me is the mob. What they did in Kills, they did here. The difference? In 1988 a mob consisted of a bunch of guys with big guns hunting down Myers. In 2018? A bunch of f--s with sticks and a bat yelling corny one liners like 'Evil dies tonight!!' I do sound old but when I see older movies and compare them to newer ones, it really shows how f---ing soft and corny we have become lmao. The car scene is a nice change to the other movies and yes, they actually shot Michael with the national guard + sherrif. This never happened before or after, finally an ending that is realistic -to an extent-. The ending is also cool with Jamie but since they didn't go through with it, it kinda was lame at the same time. Fans didn't want this so they chickened out, maybe that is why they didn't introduce Corey before? So people couldn't complain before the movie. Classic!!! 9/10
Oct 31, 2024 In this life you’re either a Halloweener or a hollow wiener. Happy Halloween, you freaks.
Oct 31, 2024 Lol watching Elmst 1 now You see Tina and her boyfriend have sex and while she is killed almost nude. Then the news report says she was 15... dude lol Later you see nancy in bath getting pulled down and her t-ts are shown. Pretty sure the acresses themselves were 18 but still lol
Oct 31, 2024 Elm 1 is the good one imo Halloween needs Michael. I’m in for something else but it shouldn’t be called Halloween, or people will expect Michael to show up and will leave disappointed again.
Oct 31, 2024 Nah the name halloween is fine just add something to not make it seem like myers. Calling it 'halloween 3' ... of course people expected Myers lol Elmst 1 is great, second best to me
Oct 31, 2024 I was about to skip Halloween 2 and Elmst 1 this year and end today with... Halloween Ends. But I put both back in and moved Kills and Ends to tomorrow night, so have an extra day of Halloween
Oct 31, 2024 Aiiight lets go, halfway now: Trick r Treat This is not even close to the scariest or best slasher movie ever. But it is the best Halloween movie to me. Lots of other movies take place on the holiday or have elements, but this movie IS Halloween. It has 4 different stories that kinda blend together. The idea is that you have to follow Halloween traditions, if you don't Sam will teach you. I've tarted the day with this movie for years now, perfect way to capture the spirit of Halloween! To be fair, there are a few movies I gave lower ratings that I think are better horror movies, but for what it is, it gets an 8/10 for me! A Nightmare On Elmstreet Way before Freddy turned into a clown, and the teens act like power rangers, this franchise used to be creepy. The first one is great. I now noticed how Julie's death in NN is a nice hommage to Tina here. Good story, good characters and Robert does a great job being scary Freddy. Second best to me since I stand by the fact that I think NN is even better. 9/10 Tales of Halloween I can copy/paste Trick r Treat review here, except that this has like 10 short stories. They aren't really connected even if the do happen in the same town (shown at the end). Some are very cool and again capture the spirit of Halloween! 2 or 3 are kinda lame lol. But again, a holiday classic but ToT is better imo. Love Adrianne's return to the role she did in the Fog! 7/10
