    That last sentence is what weirds me out. Gender they 'belief' they are. Its not something you believe in its a fact that you are a dude or a girl lol

    I get what you mean though, people who dress up like the other gender etc. Dont think I actually met someone but still, I would respect the fact that they 'feel' like the other sex. Still in fact they are what they are unless they have it changed is what I mean

    Dumb example meant to be sarcastic but that is how weird that last sentence feels

    Sex v. Gender. There's a difference. If you can't grasp that I don't know what to tell you.

    See that's where you're wrong. You're intertwining sex and gender. They are not the same thing. Sex is inarguable: you're either male or female based on your chromosomes. Gender is a social construct based on gender norms/gender roles that we've come up with as a society. Gender is not set-in-stone once you're born.

    Tbh this is probably why you're so confused by everything. Not just you either, most people in here. I'm willing to bet a vast majority of the posters here have never held a conversation with a transgender person, let alone talk to them about their gender identity. h---, I feel like a lot of you still get squirmish when you see two men kissing.
