    No because 99% of people who want to do drugs are going to find a way to do drugs no matter the legality. Why would it be more dangerous? Why would you care that your neighbor did coke if he wasn't bothering you? It doesn't affect you in any way.

    i do it all the time but again im not gay so i cant really comment on it being offensive or not

    its a different situation than fa---- tho

    if your neighbor wants to go snort cocaine he can do it right now, the only difference is that if he brings a d--- dealer around and the dude robs him or shoots him or extorts him or whatever he can't go to the police for help since he's buying drugs from the guy

    also legalizing drugs =/= everybody is going to turn into junk shooting m--- heads. a s--- load of people don't smoke or drink but cigs and alcohol are both legal.

    Basically I just believe you should be able to do whatever you want as long as it doesn't affect anyone but yourself. Not a controversial opinion by any means, just in regard to the drug discussion.

    it probably would result in a few more but why should the government be able to tell you what you can or can't put into your own body as a full grown law abiding citizen

    for example I would be less likely to let my children play in the yard if I'm in a neighbourhood of druggies vs no druggies...but if legalizing drugs wouldnt make clean ppl around me to turn to users I guess it doesn't matter

    then you protect the citizens from the people who act violent on drugs
    if you want to drink yourself to death or overdose on tylenol until you get kidney failure you can dk both of those 100% legally

    so theres really no basis in thinking legal drugs make things more dangerous? if not for me then if I had children I still shouldn't care??

    and like, cars can harm people. oxygen tanks can explode. bears can ravage you. why isn't the government having a war on those things

    if you can remove the drugs from the back alleys and make it so the victims of drug related crime can get help without fear of incriminating themselves how would that make it any more dangerous?

    they shouldn't be forced to. if someone wants to live their life like that i don't think anyone should have the right to tell them they can't.

    regardless i didn't mean it in that way, i meant if you buy drugs right now you're buying them from a criminal and you're doing it in secret. it's real easy to get jumped or find youreslelf in a s-----y position if you have enough money and/or drugs and all you can really do is either nothing or you can respond in kind with more violence. if it was legal then you're not buying illegal contraband exclusively from criminals.

    How are you going to do that though. Its easier to regulate the cause of the crime then the crime itself. You can track drugs and dealers. You cant track a drug addict who is hopped up and crazy if you don't know who they are

    Also, it would be easier for kids to access these drugs, and these drugs have a worse impact on the kids than an adult
