I'm getting into it on Twitter because I said that Joe Budden came off as a grumpy old man in the interview. People bringing up stuff about a 360 deal and that's not even the thing I'm focusing on or truly care about fully because I don't know the inner workings of any deals Yachty has made.

Then again this is basically just old head/real hip-hop stans finding another way to go at this new generation of rappers, which is just such a tired and played out argument at this point. Those people forget that back in the day Wu Tang Clan were considered weirdos, Ol Dirty b------ especially. Outkast (most of the Dungeon Family if we had to be real) were considered weird because they didn't fit "traditional hip-hop". MF DOOM even, probably one of the greatest MCs ever is still a f---ing weirdo. Hip-hop has always had its fair share of weird rappers, and they were even weirder or "on some other s---" when they were younger.

So tired of this revisionist hip-hop history s---. You either f--- with artists or don't. Stop trying to pull this "IF PAC AND BIGGIE WERE ALIVE (insert who you think is a trash rapper) WOULD BE WORKING AT MCDONALDS!" s---, it's just corny at this point.

I'm sure Joe Budden has some experience with getting f----- by a bad contract because he was young, dumb & didn't know any better.

Sure Joe's approach could've been better but I don't see an issue with somebody bringing it to Yatchy's attention now instead of him discovering years later that he's been getting robbed.

Regardless of how we may feel about Budden or Yatchy, I don't think anybody wants to see another Wanye-YM situation go down when it can be avoided.

That's a pretty bad way to look at it. There are some artists doing well financially whilst respecting the art. Owl worded his post pretty badly; a lot rappers pursue the career for financial gain - but at the same time they respect the culture. Yatchy shows zero interest for the culture and has continued to disrespect those who have worked hard to give him the platform he has. He's exploiting Hip Hop - nothing more, nothing less.
