    C3 came out when I was in 8th grade, so it was the summer anthems leading up to high school. Then Wayne was literally the biggest thing when I was in high school. Rebirth was trash, but he still was killing it with the features, then the Young Money project and No Ceilings dropped. The whole Lil Wayne fell off faze started to rise in my junior year, but then he dropped 6'7' and C4 came out when I was the senior

    I'd say the most popular rappers in my high school era were Wayne and Ye. Wiz Khalifa also had his niche back then when he was putting out good music that fit in with kids that age and Drake was starting to completely blow up

    Yup Carter 1-2 came out when I was in middle school and the south was getting super popular as Eminem/50/aftermath was phasing out. I remember my sophomore/junior year of HS there would be new Wayne songs almost literally every day. It was unprecedented.

    When the Stronger video dropped kids were buying shutter shades online and wearing them to school lol. Graduation was huge.

    First I heard of Drake was when SFG dropped and this kid who graduated two years before us (lol) was at a high school party and kept trying to get us to play some guy named Drake.

    Wiz blew up near the end of my freshman year of college. I never liked him though.

    Yea C2 came out when I was in 6th grade and that's whenI started to really get into Wayne. My math teacher at the time, who must have been fresh out of college, forgot to put her flip phone on silent and I just remember Wayne's verse on Soldier blaring out.

    Lol I definitely have some embarrassing pictures somewhere on the internet of me in those shutter shades.

    The first time I heard of Drake was when some kid posted a song or picture of him on Facebook and I thought he looked goofy, so I passed up listening at that moment, but then heard Successful a couple weeks or months, later who knows at this point lol. And I always hated when the older dickheads would show up to our high school parties when they were already graduated it was mad creepy lol
